Alumni News Symposium honors alumni, students The Center for Sports Administration and the MSA class of 2008 will host the annual alumni event in honor of the Dr. Charles R. Higgins Distinguished Alumnus Award Winner, May 2 & 3, 2008. The weekend will include a golf tournament, picnic, a poker tournament, two panel discussions featuring OU Alumni, plus additional speakers, closing with Scott McCune accepting the award as this year's Distinguished Alumnus. This year's reunion classes, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1998, and 2003 are especially encouraged to come back to celebrate their thirtieth, twenty-fifth, twentieth, tenth and fifth reunions at OU, where it all began. Encourage your classmates to come, too! The first weekend in May will allow for some beautiful spring views of Athens, but calls for a bit more prior planning to ensure hotel availability. You will want to be sure to have a room for this weekend of fun, sharing and networking at Ohio University. For more information about 2008 Symposium, please call 740-593-4666.
