Give to SAFM Annual Fund
The 2010 Annual Fund Campaign is underway! After last year’s record breaking year, the SAFM Annual Fund is looking to achieve new heights in involvement and dollars raised. These funds will be used to directly impact students during their time here at Ohio University.

The dollars raised in the 2009 SAFM Annual Fund are being used in a wide variety of ways that are helping all students involved. The following items are just an example of some of the ways the dollars were used:

  • 87% of all students’ tuition costs are covered by Annual Fund dollars
  • Eight graduate assistantships are being funded, which includes a full-tuition tuition waiver
  • Seven students are receiving graduate recruitment scholarships
  • Aid in students’ expenses on class trips to Chicago and North Carolina, National Sports Forum, TEAMS Conference, Winter Baseball meetings and the NACDA Convention

For the upcoming year, the 2010 Annual Fund has set a goal of increasing participation from 24 percent to 28 percent after receiving direct feedback from the Alumni Advisory Board. Additionally, the 2010 Annual Fund will look into increase participation in the “Honor Roll," a multi-year pledge which provides the SAFM Annual Fund with a stream of gifts from committed alumni.
